Introduction to the India United University Degree Program(Religious Studies)
India United University is fully accredited to offer 4 specialized degree programs: each has its own unique emphasis and purpose, but they all enable and prepare you faithfully to communicate the Word of God to others.
1.
Master of Divinity
The "MDiv" is a professional degree designed to prepare those called to pastoral or teaching positions within the body of Christ. It consists of 106 credit hours;

the completion of a 400 hour Field Education requirement.
Also, please note the only courses that must be completed in a particular order are the languages (Greek & Hebrew) and Preaching courses; all other courses can be completed as your schedule allows.

Master of Arts (Biblical Studies): The "MABS"
The "MABS" is an academic degree designed to prepare those called to lay positions within the body of Christ who desire a comprehensive biblical education. It consists of 66 credit hours;

Master of Arts (Religion): The "MAR"
The "MAR" is an academic degree designed to prepare those called to lay positions within the body of Christ who desire a broad biblical education and to author a Master's level summative project. It consists of 60 credit hours;

4.
Doctor of Ministry: The "DMin"
The "DMin" is a 30 credit-hour post-MDiv degree designed to increase the effectiveness of pastors, which can be done through occasional week-long intensive coursework while remaining in full-time ministry.
5.
Certificate Program
The Certificate is a flexible 30 credit-hour program that enables the student to cultivate a strong biblical and/or theological foundation without the requirements normally associated with a full degree program. Completed coursework in the Certificate program may be applied toward the MDiv, MABS, and MAR.
