Master of Divinity (M.Div) Program
Program Overview
The Master of Divinity program is designed for individuals dedicated to ministry. The curriculum is flexible, allowing students to focus on areas like Biblical Preaching, Christian Counseling, Pastoral Ministry, and Church Music. This is a three-year program requiring the completion of 96 credits, with up to 48 transfer credits accepted.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the program, students will be able to:
Understand the emphasis and teachings of each biblical book and deliver clear, passionate sermons.
Engage in ethical ministry, grounded in personal life and spiritual maturity.
Critically understand the theology of the Korean diaspora church.
Acquire practical knowledge and skills in various ministry areas.
Become influential ministers with cultural sensitivity through evangelism and social engagement.
Develop a ministry philosophy and cultivate critical thinking skills.
Specialization Tracks (26 Credits)
1. Biblical Preaching Specialization
Learning Outcomes:
The ability to discern and proclaim a sermon message from a biblical text.
The skills to understand and effectively deliver various types of sermons.
2. Christian Counseling Specialization
Learning Outcomes:
The ability to integrate the Bible and theology into counseling.
An understanding of Christian counseling theories and techniques.
The acquisition of practical pastoral care and counseling skills.
3. Pastoral Ministry Specialization
Learning Outcomes:
A theological understanding of the various aspects of local church ministry.
The acquisition of diverse skills necessary for practical ministry.
4. Church Music Specialization
Learning Outcomes:
Possessing the knowledge and skills suitable for church music ministry.
Enhancing artistic expression and analytical skills.
Graduation Requirements
A total of 96 credits or more completed after a bachelor's degree.
Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Demonstrate proficiency in at least seven pastoral skills from the list specified in the Field Education handbook.
Pass the comprehensive Biblical Examination within the designated period.
A re-examination is required for those who do not pass.
Write a Ministry Plan (PT606) and receive approval from the Ministry Plan Committee.
This plan is written under the guidance of a faculty advisor on a topic of the student's interest,
must be 50 pages double-spaced,
and must follow the World Mission University format.
Residency Requirements
Students must complete at least one year of study during a regular enrollment period.
This requirement can be fulfilled through intensive courses.
